Michael Hawk, our founder, was driven to act on behalf of the environment—an inspiration sparked by years of hiking, nature photography, and exploring national parks. These experiences revealed a stark reality: nature is in trouble, and we must do something about it.

How We Make a Difference
Jumpstart Nature is using modern media to inspire people to reconnect with and protect the natural world. Our two podcasts reach thousands each month, and we’re planning to expand with innovative tools, like a mobile app, to bring this mission to even more people. We’re a dedicated team of volunteers, led by an experienced board of directors. And as a young nonprofit, every donation plays a crucial role in helping us grow.
